Museum of Toys is a passionate toy maker with the vision to empower and promote artists, build a sub-culture, and bring color to the world through art toys and sculptures by talented artists. We always seek to spearhead the movement to bring Indonesia to the world through top-notch products, exhibitions, and events.
This journey started in 2019 when we created Museum of Toys. Housing more than 15,000 designer toys, this Indonesian icon is the biggest art toy museum in Southeast Asia. Here, we collaborate and create further. We have collaborated with artists, creators, and toy makers all around the world, creating innovative pieces, events, and exhibition stages in the hope to inspire more creators.
It is time to pay attention. As forests continue to disappear, orangutans are facing a threat like never before. Their already low number is dwindling as their habitat shrinks. Museum of Toys shines a light on this important issue the only way we know how: through art. Through this impressive showcase, we use orangutan as a blank canvas to be painted on, to be embraced, to be understood. Then, more than 50 Indonesian artists poured hundreds of hours into turning these blank canvases into beautiful, powerful artworks. Together with BCA and Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF), we make the call for the conservation of orangutans and spread the word on this precious icon of Indonesia to the world. Pay a close attention. Save the orangutans. Preserve THE HABITAT.
